Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton – Parish Counseling Services (PCS)

Parish Counseling Services (PCS) is short term professional counseling through Catholic Charities or independent licensed Catholic counselors available to help parishioners through difficult issues such as marital problems, raising children, eldercare, bereavement or the stress of job loss. Short term is defined as six (6) sessions. Please note: Short term counseling is not an appropriate treatment for severe or persistent mental illness.

PCS is available throughout the Diocese of Trenton, either at offices of Catholic Charities or at the private offices of independent Catholic Counselors working with PCS.

Cost per Session
$90 if paying privately
$25 if receiving PCS financial assistance
Health insurance coverage may be applicable

If you would like to pursue counseling through PCS, contact your pastor or a parish priest for a referral. Once all paperwork has been submitted, a PCS coordinator will contact you to schedule appointments.
