Basic Needs Food Pantry Requests

Thank you for your continued support of the Church of the Nativity’s food pantry! Below are items that are needed by Lunch Break, Family Promise, St. Peter Claver, and Eagles Up (deployed military). Items may be placed in the Food Pantry boxes located around the Church.

BABY ITEMS

  • Diapers, sizes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 – the bigger sizes are most needed
  • Baby Wipes
  • Baby Wash

WOMEN-SPECIFIC ITEMS

  • Personal Hygiene Products

ADULT-SPECIFIC ITEMS

  • Adult Diapers – all sizes/Men/Women

PERSONAL ITEMS (smaller travel sizes)

  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrushes
  • Soap/Body Wash
  • Hand/Body Cream
  • Shaving Cream for Men/Women
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Deodorant
  • Toilet Paper
 CLEANING SUPPLIES

  • Laundry Detergent
  • Cleaning Products
  • Dish Detergent
  • Paper Towels
  • Sponges

SNACK PACK ITEMS

  • Chips
  • Cookies
  • Fruit Cups
  • Juice Packs
  • Small Waters
  • Non-perishable items such as canned vegetables, pasta and sauce, canned soup, etc.

EAGLES UP 

  • Dried Fruit Snacks
  • Beef Jerky
  • Coffee or Tea

  • Microwaveable Snacks
  • Hard Candy

OTHER

  • Boxed shelf-stable Almond Milk or Oat Milk (not refrigerated or flavored)
  • Ziplock bags of tall sizes to hold hygiene items/snacks, etc.

Lunch Break Community Dinners [SIGNUP]

The Church of the Nativity is seeking volunteers to help out at Friday Night Community Dinners at Lunch Break. Lunch Break is located at 121 Drs. James Parker Boulevard in Red Bank.

Nativity volunteers will serve the third Friday of every month from 5:30pm-8:30pm. Volunteers must be 16 years or older.

To volunteer, please complete these two steps:

Heavenly Music Campaign

Help Nativity renew and build our Music Ministry for future generations by contributing to our Heavenly Music Campaign!

Campaign Goals

  • Replace aging electronic organ with technologically advanced, updatable American-made Allen digital organ
  • Improve and update choir loft audio system
  • Create safe musical environment in choir loft for all musicians

Finances

  • The Diocese of Trenton approved a 2-year capital campaign to offsite net price of the organ, $103,000. (The campaign will end on June 30, 2025.)
  • The entire project with organ, sound system, carpentry, flooring, carpeting and other upgrades will cost approximately $140,000

How to Donate

  • Using Heavenly Music church envelopes. Available in the church and parish office. Checks payable to: Church of the Nativity (memo line: Heavenly Music)
