The sacrament of marriage requires a lot of spiritual preparation, planning and organizing. In accordance with the Common Policy of Marriage sponsored by the Bishops of New Jersey, engaged couples are asked to make wedding arrangements with a priest or deacon at least one year in advance of the wedding date.
