Calling Volunteers for this joyful mission! If you enjoy working with kids and want to help make their Mass experience joyful and meaningful, please consider joining our team! No prior experience needed — just a willing heart.
During 9:30 Mass, we meet in the church chapel to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word with our parish’s children. Adult leaders will prepare ahead of time by becoming familiar with the readings for the week and prepping a quick/informal lesson to help the children understand it. We use songs, simple crafts and sometimes even games to illustrate the readings. Teenage volunteers can also sign up to come back and help with the younger children. In addition, we would love any volunteers that could play the guitar or piano and/or lead some songs!
