Renew & Scripture Study groups are parishioners who study and discuss Bible readings, books, and videos that educate, support and grow our faith. The Renew group meets Tuesdays and the Scripture Study group meets Wednesdays.
Among other sources, we have used materials from Word on Fire and Ascension Press consisting of study guides and videos, as well as YouTube. To give you an idea of the topics we have visited – we enjoyed “The Mass,” “Catholicism,” “The Eucharist,” “7 Deadly Sins and 7 Virtues,” “Women of the Bible,” “Fr. Schmitz’s Walk through the Bible,” “Pivotal Players,” and more.
The Wednesday group is covering Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible (Ascension Press) from March 25 – May 27, 9am-10am in the Chapel. All are welcome. Contact: Tammy McKenna, tammy.nwg@gmail.com.
